The eastern border is drawn by the nimble fingers of a river, a rushing river at that. Don't expect to get across all that easily, for there is only one safe crossing point; a land bridge. Once navigated, you lay eyes upon rolling hills of tall lush grass which makes for exceptional grazing material. A while west, there lies a dense hardwood forest to the south. There is a small, dried up river bed that seperates Gallatain from a second territory. To the north, a monsterous mountain looms. There are no others, just some foothills that are a touch larger than the present rolling ones. A mile farther north and you've hit a no-man's land. If you go any farther west, though, you've got another territory that is actually quite friendly. Its not all peace, though, for wolves inhabit the forest and a mountain lion dominates the mountain's foothills... worth the risk? I think so.

This dark forboding place is constructed by a dense woodland, of thick boughs and heavy undergrowth. The sun, during a good day drifts through ever so slightly, only enough to illuminate the ground. Patchy clearings of tall grace allow some freedom for a wild equine to move, and the vast meadowland to the north is somewhat inviting though it is flat and dangerous to cross during summer when the hot months scorch the plains with no place to shelter. A fierce river races through the heart of Kah'sine during the spring months, it freezes thick, making it difficult to find holes in which to crack the ice and drink during the winter, and then in the hot months of summer, the water seems no more than a trickle... just enough to survive. Oltius is built for the hardy, and that is exactly why it is so alluring to reckless, bold, young stags.

One of the initial ridges that separated this territory from the next turned out to be mostly ice, and so has disappeared with the warmer temperatures. This has left a large part of the herd land open to not only the elements, but to the neighboring alliances as well. The horses here seemed unaffected by this and function quite well in their newly shaped territory. This land has benefited the most in the absence of the ‘ice age’ with the return of grass in thick patches. The conifers here actually have their foliage return where as before they remained naked year round. Though no constant supply of water is known to exist here, fresh water drips from every crevice and ice cliff.
