One of the initial ridges that separated this territory from the next turned out to be mostly ice, and so has disappeared with the warmer temperatures. This has left a large part of the herd land open to not only the elements, but to the neighboring alliances as well. The horses here seemed unaffected by this and function quite well in their newly shaped territory. This land has benefited the most in the absence of the ‘ice age’ with the return of grass in thick patches. The conifers here actually have their foliage return where as before they remained naked year round. Though no constant supply of water is known to exist here, fresh water drips from every crevice and ice cliff.
